What is the Congo like to this very day?
Economics:
The Congo is a Republic government and has a legislative, Judicial and Executive branch. The current president of the Congo is Joseph Kabila. The Congo not fighting any wars but they are trying to bring peace to the war torn province of North Kivu that is located in eastern Congo. The country is in a stable state but they are barley stable because of all the poverty and unemployment. The legal system is the same as the french and people have the same rights just as the french do and that is a very good thing. Social/Culture: People in the Congo don't really need everything to survive. All they really need is food, water, shelter, resources and technology. The Congo is a very unsanitary place because it has many diseases like malaria. The average person that lives in the Congo usually live to be 56.54 years at the most which is not that old in many other countries and the main reason for this is because of the lack of medication and also because of the diseases that spread. The crime rate is at 43.75% which is a lot of people. There is a literacy rate of 66.8% |
